ST-LAB7 Automatic Torque-Force-Pressure Tester

Sure Torque’s ST-LAB7 is multi-purpose full automatic force-torque-pressure tester with FDA CFR21 part 11 compliant user management and audit logging. The instrument is optimized for performing test on:
– Syringes and containers with Luer Lock – ISO 80369, ISO 11040 including pressure tests
– Injector pen devices (Needle-based injection systems for medical use – ISO 11608)
Based on the success of Sure Torque’s ST-LAB6 closure torque tester in the pharma industry, we have developed the LAB7 as a special multi-purpose torque-force-pressure tester.
– ST-LAB7 is optimized for following EN ISO 80369-20 tests

- Annex G (normative) Resistance to separation from unscrewing test method
- Annex H (normative) Resistance to overriding test method
- Annex I (normative) Disconnection by unscrewing test method
– ST-LAB7 is capable to be used as a universal test machine for simpler force and torque test purposes
– With further option ST-LAB7 can be upgraded to perform the following EN ISO 80369-20 tests: - Annex B (normative) *Leakage by pressure decay test method
- Annex C (normative) Falling drop positive-pressure liquid leakage test method
- Annex D (normative) Subatmospheric-pressure air leakage test method

Measuring With the ST-Lab
The ST-LAB is a user-friendly one-button operation unit, controlled by a PLC.
• Choose a sample type on the touch screen.
• Choose the desired test method on the PLC by using the PLC’s navigation buttons.
• Place the sample (and close the safety door if there is)
• Hit the activation buttons to start a test cycle.
o The container clamp closes and holds the container tight during the test cycle
o The testing head sinks to the cap level and grabs the cap
o The desired test method will be completed
o The sample will be released
All manipulation forces can be set on a wide range so that you can choose the forces matching the best to your samples and test requirements.
• You can start a new test by hitting the activation buttons
The speed of the test cycle can be set on a wide range, however the slower a test cycle is, the more accurate it is. The internal memory of the plc stores all results of the machine life time with graph and all details which can be imported into a pc. Results can be monitored by on line data collector too.
